November 28, 2017 Board Meeting Agenda Item #40 Title APPROVAL OF DESIGN-BUILD CONTRACT WITH GILBANE BUILDING COMPANY FOR THE RIVERVIEW HIGH SCHOOL-SECURITY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Description The project scope of work consists of security improvements to Riverview High School which involves the addition of a security door and transaction window in the Administration lobby, new front entry security gates, and new polycarbonate panel roofing for the aquaculture greenhouse. This contract has been approved by School Board attorney and is available for review at the Construction Services Department. Funds for this project are contained in the 2017/18 Facilities Services Department budget, project 4562-D/W Reroofing and project 5542-Instructional/District Remodel, and Safety & Emergency Management Department budget, project 4014-Security Single Point of Entry. Recommendation That the Design-Build Contract for the Riverview High School-Security Improvements project be approved as presented. Contact LEMPE & DUMAS Financial Impact Capital: $160,950.00
